A dedicated practitioner of healing touch, Susan’s clients value her clinical skill and therapeutic presence. She has honed sensitivity from years of work in a nursing home, accuracy from serving 15 years in the University of North Carolina medical library and particular empathy for caregivers due to years of personally care giving for a spouse with stroke-induced brain damage. Susan has been in practice since she graduated from the Body Therapy Institute in 2014.
Susan has pursued in-depth training in medical massage, oncology massage, reflexology, neuromuscular techniques, and lymphatic drainage. Although her focus is on integrating multiple modalities to provide customized therapeutic sessions for her clients, she enjoys treating others to the extra touches that help create the ultimate massage experience, such as hot stones, contrast baths, herbal scrubs, and paraffin wax treatments.
Along with her technical abilities, Susan is well known for the empathy and emotional support, which underlines her approach. Devoted to unconditional positive regard for all her clients, she combines expertise with compassion that helps others heal and regain equilibrium. Kindness is the foundation of her skill set as a massage therapist.
In addition to long-term experience as the primary caregiver for loved ones, Susan volunteered for seven years at the Caring House, an adult care facility for those undergoing cancer treatments. She is especially attuned to the emotional and physiological needs of caregivers. She holds them in special regard, understanding the immense challenges they often face which can be overwhelming both physically and psychologically.
For Susan, massage is more than a means to an end; it is a calling. Her warm personality, openness to a diverse clientele, maturity, innate nurturing qualities, insistence on the highest standards for professional integrity, and impressive capability all come together to serve you.
Susan is an active member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Inspired by her own positive experiences in managing chronic health and pain issues resulting from Lyme disease, Kandi Dole embarked on her journey in massage therapy and energy healing. She graduated from The Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, NC, in 2013 and has since been dedicated to studying a wide array of healing modalities. Her expertise encompasses traditional massage therapy, integrative reflexology, and Reiki, all enriched by her interest in Eastern influences such as acupressure and the meridian system.
Kandi offers two primary types of sessions: traditional therapeutic massage and holistic massage sessions. Her therapeutic repertoire includes a diverse blend of techniques like deep tissue (not heavy), myofascial release, trigger point, muscle release, Swedish, meridian massage, acupressure, craniosacral therapy, and integrative reflexology. Kandi is particularly renowned for her signature foot, leg, and hip session, which is highly beneficial for runners and those suffering from Plantar Fasciitis, often enhanced with a relaxing foot scrub and reflexology.
Currently, Kandi is expanding her skills in lymphatic drainage massage and massage for menopause. She plans to introduce additional treatments like castor oil packs for menopausal support, aromatherapy, and foot scrubs into her sessions. These additions are intended to be available in 60, 75, or 90-minute sessions, without any extra cost.
Kandi warmly invites inquiries about her holistic massage sessions. Her approach to combining massage with energy healing modalities is aimed at facilitating deep, comprehensive healing. She looks forward to being a part of her clients' wellness journeys.
