Susan Linn

Susan Linn
 LMBT NC#14497

A dedicated practitioner of healing touch, Susan’s clients value her clinical skill and therapeutic presence. She has honed sensitivity from years of work in a nursing home, accuracy from serving 15 years in the University of North Carolina medical library and particular empathy for caregivers due to years of personally care giving for a spouse with stroke-induced brain damage. Susan has been in practice since she graduated from the Body Therapy Institute in 2014.

Susan has pursued in-depth training in medical massage, oncology massage, reflexology, neuromuscular techniques, prenatal massage and lymphatic drainage. Although her focus is on integrating multiple modalities to provide customized therapeutic sessions for her clients, she enjoys treating others to the extra touches that help create the ultimate massage experience, such as hot stones, contrast baths, herbal scrubs, and paraffin wax treatments.

Along with her technical abilities, Susan is well known for the empathy and emotional support, which underlines her approach. Devoted to unconditional positive regard for all her clients, she combines expertise with compassion that helps others heal and regain equilibrium.  Kindness is the foundation of her skill set as a massage therapist.

In addition to long-term experience as the primary caregiver for loved ones, Susan volunteered for seven years at the Caring House, an adult care facility for those undergoing cancer treatments.  She is especially attuned to the emotional and physiological needs of caregivers. She holds them in special regard, understanding the immense challenges they often face which can be overwhelming both physically and psychologically.

For Susan, massage is more than a means to an end; it is a calling. Her warm personality, openness to a diverse clientele, maturity, innate nurturing qualities, insistence on the highest standards for professional integrity, and impressive capability all come together to serve you.

Susan is an active member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Danshel Williams

Danshel Williams
LMBT  NC#9571

I have been sharing my gift of massage since I graduated in 2010 from ECPI School of Technology where I was the president of my class and inducted into the National Honor Society. I focus on Therapeutic Touch. We live in a world that is fast-paced, stressful and unbalanced and we need more therapeutic touch and healing positive energy in our lives.

I practice Swedish, Acupressure, Pre-natal, as well as Infant Massage. I am also knowledgeable with Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, and TMD (TMJ Disorder) work.  I do travel for in-home massage and participate in chair massage events. I’ve worked with the NBA, Duke University, retirement homes, dental offices and corporations.

Prior to my career in massage, I worked with mentally and physically challenged adults for 12 years. I performed mentoring and teaching life and job skills so they were able to go out into the community and use those skills to work and be independent in their everyday lives.
I look forward to meeting you and discussing the possibility to better your health, future and peace of mind with Therapeutic Touch.
